Dusty Ciggaar won the first prize at the Sena Guitar Awards for best guitar player in the Netherlands when he was just 14 years old - in all age categories! (Dec 2005)
Dusty began at a young age playing drums – taking
lessons from Timothy van der Holst, and still today continues to play drums
for his father’s band: ‘the Tone Twisters’.
About
9 years ago, he began to play guitar, first of all taking lessons
from his uncle – Jerry Brown, then with Eric Bal from the Rotterdam Conservatorium. He is now studying guitar at the Rotterdam Conservatorium.
Dusty’s

He plays a vintage Fender Strotocaster
and a handmade Valvetech amplifier.
